Make a template

Rhinestone Workbench is a free, browser-based tool that turns a name or simple artwork into a measured rhinestone template. It is built and run by one person — FlashingChen — for crafters who cut and print their own templates and do not want a subscription for an occasional project.

What it does

You type a name or upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP. The tool converts the artwork into a grid of holes at a real millimetre diameter, previews every dot, and exports either an SVG with one vector circle per stone or a tiled printable PDF for US Letter or A4, with a 25.4 mm calibration line on every sheet.

What it does not do

It does not design garments, generate portraits, separate multiple stone colours, or export DXF. It has not been validated on every cutting machine, so the workflow asks you to print the calibration strip and test a small cut first.

Privacy in one line

Images and text are processed in your browser and are never uploaded. There are no accounts and no advertising scripts.

Pricing

Designing, previewing and the calibration strip are free. The downloadable SVG and printable PDF cost $4.99 per design, paid once, with no subscription and no expiry. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record; refunds are available for 14 days.
